The Sierranader Chorus
The Sierranaders invite men in the Auburn, Grass Valley, Lincoln and surrounding area to join us any Tuesday night for the world's greatest hobby — singing in beautiful a cappella harmony, barbershop style. We meet in downtown Auburn at the new Senior Center, 550 High St. behind the Elmwood Motel at the corner of Elm Avenue and High Street. See the map and directions below.
The Sierranaders is a fun loving chapter that enjoys a wide variety of music and sharing our music with our community. The chorus is pictured above after competing at the March 21, 2015 Far Western District contest in Sacramento and being named "Most Improved Chorus" by the judges.
Chorus Director Roger Perkins has been with us since 1984. He majored in music at California State University Sacramento completing his studies in 1978. He joined SPEBSQSA in 1960 and has been a dedicated member ever since. Roger also directed the first Placer County Chapter for eight years beginning in 1960 and has sung in three Far Western District top 10 quartets.
